Custom-tailored damping: The exchangeable, weight- and load- adjusted heel damping is adjusted to the individual requirements of the wearer. The excellent damping behaviour reduces the pressure load in the shoe to a natural level, relieves the back and significantly reduces fatigue.

TENSION AND FATIGUE CAN BE AVOIDED BY MULTI-ZONE DAMPING
Perfect comfort for the entire foot: The VARIO Vitality® load-adjusted multi-zone damping. This ensures a pleasantly soft wear feeling, educes the pressure load in the shoe and relieves the back and the forefoot. This makes a natural stance and gait possible and prevents tensions.

Many safety shoes influence the natural movement of the foot and onstrain its flexibility. The resulting leverage forces cause knee pain nd back problems and can result in twisted ankles. That won‘t appen with us! Through intelligent adjustments to the shoe, we reduce undesired leverage forces: for example, by changing the geometryof the outer sole or reducing the sole thickness. One result of the VARIO Multiflex® technology is the multi-flexible sole.

Inside the shoe is the heart of the STEITZ climate comfort concept, the leather insole. The sole made of real, vegetable-tanned leather with skin-friendly pH-value adjusts to the foot individually. It also stores humidity that is carried away from the foot through our insoles. This avoids heat build-up and unpleasant perspiration inside the shoe.

That is why quality control is so important in our operation. Every shoe, from manufacture to final inspection, is touched and held numerous times, assessed and carefully checked. By experienced experts who see all the things a machine can‘t see. And who can correct even the smallest errors. We still largely rely on craftsmanship. And our feet can feel that.

WE‘RE KNOWN FOR OUR CAN-DO ATTITUDE
We used to make the wooden soles for our shoes out of beech trees from the Donnersberg mountain. And back then we were also proud of our employees who didn‘t mind getting their hands dirty for good shoes. Today we‘re no longer covered in sawdust, but we can still rely on our team in the same way: With a staff of over 200, we are one of the most important regional employers. And we still want to make products using workers and raw materials from the region. Because it‘s not just about a quick profit, but about sustainable success and quality.
